"Dada."

It doesn't matter, I guess, that it's mama who's feeding her the food.
Addy's favorite thing to say is "dada." To her "dada," to her "mama," to her Yaya and Janu.
(Addy's babysitter was telling me about her 3 year old being sick a few weeks ago, about how she woke up in the middle of the night and immediately started calling for "Daddy!" She said she's always done this, always called for her "Dada." I asked if this ever hurt her feelings in the beginning. And she said, being a mom of three under five, that it absolutely does not hurt her feelings at four a.m.)
Addy, at eight and a half months old, is already a Daddy's Girl through and through. I couldn't be happier about it.

She may in fact be calling *you* "Dada". "Dada" is easier for little ones to say than "Mama". (One of the random facts I picked up as a speech pathologist's daughter.)
Oh so sweet!!!!
