Today is Adelyn's six-month birthday. SIX MONTHS. Last night when Jason and I were at a movie he leaned over suddenly and whispered to me, "It's been almost a year and a half since we started this whole thing."
"This whole thing," this creation and tumultuous, amazing journey. Adelyn is half a year old, and it's flown by faster than anything ever has in my life.
It started with this.

And this.
This, too.
Now this.
