And from that lovely day at work, a comment from a coworker upon finding out I'm pregnant:

Him: "I didn't know you were pregnant."

Me: "Well, I hadn't told anyone."

Him: "Were you not on the pill?"

So, is it ok for an older, male colleague to ask me that? Would that ever be an acceptable thing for him to ask someone who is his superior at work? Hell no.

Because I am young, or act timid, or maybe just because I smile too much, it's somehow perfectly fine to ask me a question like that.

And I was too tired at work yesterday to say anything but, "what?"

Luckily, he didn't ask again.

I need a nap.
